American Rubber, with over 30 years experience in producing
precision rubber rollers combined with our in-house engineering,
provides you with the assurance of a high quality product.
We manufacture precision rubber
rollers up to 78" in length. Rubber tolerances can be held
as close as .001 inches and metal tolerances as close as necessary.
All polymer types and hardnesses can be supplied.
Engineering:
Over 30 years of in-house engineering expertise to meet customer
specifications through a state-of-the-art CAD system for complete
custom roller design.
Size:
We can manufacture rollers up to 78" in length and 12" in diameter.
Manufacturing Processes:
Mid American Rubber uses three manufacturing processes. Sheet-built
is used for prototype and very low volume. Extrusion is used
for small volume up to 1000 pieces per month or more. Molded
is used for high volumes and special configurations. Extrusion
and sheet-build usually require minimal to zero tooling charge
and make us very competitive in the prototype and the initial
phase of productions.
Custom Compounding:
Neoprene, Nitrile, Buna, EPDM, Silicone, Urethane and most others
are available.
Durometers between 20 and 100. Shore A & D. Shafts --- Gears
--- Bearings --- Precision grinding and finishing
Delivery:
Lead times vary depending on specific aspects of the roller
specifications. In some cases we have been able to complete
orders in less than two weeks.
